Why I won’t give generic trainings
Have you done a bunch of courses where you get in there, the trainer isn’t even there with you and you are left to your own devices? You feel like you are failing and nobody cares? Like maybe nobody even knows?
This is what I DON’T want for you.
Many NGO and nonprofit professionals have experienced the deep frustration of enrolling in a course only to find themselves unsupported. The trainer is absent, you have to navigate complex material on your own, and you feel even more isolated and uncertain than before.
What NGOs and nonprofitts truly need and deserve is customized grant writing support.
Not the "I'll do it for you" kind of grantwriting support. But the "I'll teach you how to do it and walk the path with you until you've got it" support.💡
You can take all the grant writing strategy and theory in the world, but unless somebody is going to look at your organization, your strengths, your weaknesses, your messaging and materials and help you develop EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED, it is really difficult to get the results that a lot of grant writing trainings promise.
This is a significant gap in what is available for NGOs and nonprofits.
Many grant writing trainings promise success but fall short when it comes to providing the detailed, hands-on guidance necessary for nonprofits to thrive.
NGOs and nonprofits deserve programs that offer this level of personalized attention. When organizations receive the tailored support they need, they are better equipped to secure the funding necessary to further their missions.
But too often, hands-on, personalized support only exists for big organizations that can pay a lot.
That’s why I take a hybrid approach, I find the sweet spot: group training tailored to the participants PLUS offline, high-touch support that each organization receives individually to get the rest of the way there.
May we all find the middle ground that gives NGOs and nonprofits what they need, at an investment level they can afford.
